Four operators. Not four hundred consultants.
Every senior person on this team has run a real business, not just advised one, and not just at one size. Between the four of us, we’ve built inside venture-stage startups, mid-market manufacturers, and some of the biggest technology companies in the world. That’s the leadership on every engagement. Behind it sits a deep network we draw on sprint by sprint: builders, designers, and data specialists, some of them junior in title, every one of them excellent at the specific thing we bring them in to do. Nobody on this roster is a generalist filling a seat, and nobody’s billing you to learn your business on your dime.
The four.
The AI-native operator
VP Marketing at Rule 1 Ventures, an Atlanta venture studio spanning cybersecurity, financial services, and transportation. Previously VP Marketing at a top-50 global architecture firm, and before that, founded his own CPG company. Runs AI-native growth and operations across the portfolio’s own P&Ls, which is where the multi-currency sprint, the two-week rebrand, and the demand engines on this site actually came from. His answer to “does this work” is always “we already did it, here’s the number.”
The AI depth
Nearly two decades at Cisco: solutions architect, then data scientist, then senior manager for new products in data science, then product manager for Cisco’s own customer analytics platform. Master’s-level AI and machine learning training with an MIT background, plus a master’s in computer science. Ten years before that as a U.S. Marine Corps information systems officer, which is where the nickname comes from. He’s spent his career building production machine learning inside a company most of the world has heard of, including work predicting security incidents at enterprise scale. He’s the reason the AI workforce this firm builds is real infrastructure, not a wrapped chatbot with a new logo on it.
The business anatomist
Twenty-five years in strategic alliances and partner ecosystems. Ran alliances at iXL during the early internet era, where his work influenced more than $200 million in revenue. Co-founded and led an alliance consultancy for two decades, with clients including Cisco, Intel, IBM, Coca-Cola, and Equifax. Certified Strategic Alliance Professional, past president of the industry’s Southeast chapter. He knows how the middle tier of a company actually functions because he’s spent a quarter century building that exact function for some of the largest companies in the world.
The commercial connector
Wharton MBA. Started in brand marketing at Coca-Cola. Founded his own marketing consultancy and sold it to Prophet, one of the best-known brand strategy firms in the country, where he became a partner on their US leadership team. Then spent eight years as Chief Marketing, Innovation, Strategy, and Sustainability Officer at a real mid-market manufacturer, running strategy from inside the P&L, not advising it from outside. He knows where the money actually is in a mid-market company, and the networks that get this firm in the room.
Why four, not a pyramid
The old model needed a pyramid of junior staff to do the work a senior partner oversaw. That’s what made big consulting engagements slow and expensive: the client was paying for the pyramid, not just the judgment at the top, and everyone in the room knew it.
Here’s the part that matters. Your project never needed fourteen people on it. It needed the right few: four senior operators leading the engagement, an AI workforce doing the transactional work underneath them, and a deep network of builders, designers, and data specialists we call in exactly when a job needs one. Some of them are junior on paper. None of them are junior at the thing we hired them for. Every single person who touches your work is a killer at their specific job, not a generalist riding along to learn your business on your dime. That’s not a staffing choice. It’s a fact about the work, and it holds whether this firm has four people in it or forty.
Our first meeting is 45 minutes, and it isn’t a pitch.
We come with a point of view on your business already researched: where we’d start, and what it’s worth. You keep that thinking whether you hire us or not.
Start with one workflow →Email goes to the four of us, not a funnel. You’ll hear back within one business day.
